CBC Echoes Israel's Lies

In the same article referenced above, CBC included a paragraph quoting Israel's claim that Hamas uses human shields. This is not something that deserves to be repeated. It has been shown to be a lie, in the UN Goldstone Report and elsewhere. Why does CBC repeat, and echo, and repeat Israeli lies???

Chris Hughes had this to say about Israel:

Israel engages in the kinds of jaw-dropping lies that characterize despotic and totalitarian regimes. It does not deform the truth; it inverts it. It routinely paints a picture for the outside world that is diametrically opposed to reality.

The Big Lie was a Nazi technique. Do not just fudge the trutth, but say the opposite to the truth, and keep repeating it as if it were not a totally false, upside down statement. This is why so much of CBC's reporting here is literally backwards and upside down. CBC has decided not only to believe Israel's obvious lies, but repeats them over and over.

There are a dozen Big Lies (statements the absolute opposite to the truth) told by Israel and its Zionist supporters. One example is the claim that Israel tries to avoid civilian casualties, when the opposite is true. Israel thrives on killing Palestinians, including children, and does it intentionally. By killing children they guarantee the Palestinians will continue resisting, and Israel expands its territory and achieves its ethnic cleansing goals if the resistance continues.

Chris Hughes had this to say:

There is a perverted logic to Israel's repeated use of the Big Lie—Große Lüge—the lie favored by tyrants from Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin to Saddam Hussein. The Big Lie feeds the two reactions Israel seeks to elicit—racism among its supporters and terror among its victims.

By painting a picture of an army that never attacks civilians, that indeed goes out of its way to protect them, the Big Lie says Israelis are civilized and humane, and their Palestinian opponents are inhuman monsters. The Big Lie serves the idea that the slaughter in Gaza is a clash of civilizations, a war between democracy, decency and honor on one side and Islamic barbarism on the other.

Was CBC established to echo and legitimize foreign liars? When foreigners lie to the world and Canadians, doesn't CBC have some responsibility not to echo the lies, and perhaps even expose them for what they are.

These Israeli lies are so blatant, it would be easy to undermine them. So easy. There must be a reason why CBC lets them stand and repeats them without comment. Who is CBC working for?
