Who is retaliating?

The Israelis killed 130 demonstrators, mostly unarmed civilians in the last few months .

But when the Palestinians kill one Israel, CBC describes the Israeli actions as "retaliation" in this headline:

Israeli soldier killed by gunmen, retaliatory airstrikes kill 4 Palestinians

Why does CBC never describe the actions of the Palestinians, who are the true victims in this scenario, as "retaliation"? CBC sees the world through a Zionist prism, but we need to ask why is this?

Sloppy CBC reporting

In today's article there are several examples:

"The military said a "terrorist squad" fired at troops, and one soldier was severely injured and later died of his wounds."

There is NO WAY the shooting of a soldier imposing an illegal blockade meets any reasonable definition of terrorism. This Zionist doublespeak that should not be quoted or repeated.

Another example:

"The militant Islamic Hamas that rules Gaza said three of the dead were members of the group."

CBC always needs to use the unnecessary adjectives "militant Islamic" in front of Hamas. Why not use the same adjectives in front of any mentions of the Israel Government which is equally "militant".

Another example:

"At least 135 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire since the border protests began on March 30. The UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs says a "large number" of the casualties were among unarmed demonstrators."

CBC uses this quote of 'a large number". Actually the vast majority of those killed were unarmed demonstrators and this expression, 'a large number" hides the criminal reality for which Israel should be sanctioned.
